A cold front is advancing through the Western Cape, causing morning fog patches followed by partly cloudy skies and isolated showers in the south and west. The extreme west will experience cloudier conditions. Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh westerly or south-westerly, with light to moderate northwesterlies along the west coast. Eastern Cape: Warm with Fog and Isolated Showers

The western half will be partly cloudy and warm, while the coast remains cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain. Winds along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly in the west and fresh to strong south-westerly in the east. A few isolated showers and rain patches will occur mainly along the coast, with warmer conditions inland.

KwaZulu-Natal: Warm and Windy, Isolated Showers in the South

Morning fog patches in the extreme northeast clear to fine, warm to hot conditions thereafter. The afternoon will turn partly cloudy with isolated showers and rain largely confined to southern areas. Coastal winds will be fresh to strong northeasterly, and some places in the east will be very hot. An extremely high fire danger warning applies to north-eastern areas due to dry and windy conditions.

Free State: Partly Cloudy, Windy, and Warm to Hot

Conditions are partly cloudy and windy, with warm to hot temperatures except in the extreme west, which remains fine. A Yellow Level 1 Wind Warning is in effect for western parts, with gusts up to 40 km/h anticipated. Residents should secure loose outdoor items and exercise caution when driving.

Limpopo: Fine, Warm to Hot

Limpopo will enjoy fine, warm to hot conditions throughout the day. No significant rain is expected.

Mpumalanga: Warm with Morning Fog Patches

Morning fog patches occur along the coast where it is cloudy. The adjacent interior is partly cloudy, becoming windy, fine, and warm to hot. Isolated showers and rain are expected in the western areas. Coastal winds will be moderate northwesterly. A Yellow Level 1 Wind Warning continues for western parts such as Upington and Springbok.
