City Power Johannesburg has announced planned power outages affecting multiple suburbs on Tuesday, 24 June 2025, and Thursday, 26 June 2025. These scheduled interruptions will last for eight hours each day as essential maintenance work is carried out on key substations. - Part of Richards Drive
- Part of James Crescent
- Old PTA Road
- Caltex Garage on Le-Roux
- Roosevelt Park Substation: Power interruption will take place from 08:30 to 16:00 affecting:
- Northcliff
- Blackheath
- Part of Risidale
Thursday, 26 June 2025: Mayfair Substation
On Thursday, the Mayfair Substation will undergo maintenance with power outages from 08:30 to 16:00 in these areas:
- Homestead Park
- Langlaagte
- Mayfair
- Crown North
