Data from Naamsa reveals the country’s best-selling pickups for the first half of the year, with familiar names leading the charge. Unsurprisingly, the Toyota Hilux has held its ground at the summit of the sales chart.

The Toyota Hilux remains the undisputed favourite, clocking an impressive 16,526 units sold across its single, Xtra, and double-cab models. Its popularity stretches across every corner of the country, thanks to a reputation for reliability, ruggedness, and strong resale value.

Ford Ranger Stays in the Race
Right on its heels, the Ford Ranger came in second with 12,398 units moved so far this year. The Ranger’s latest generation continues to impress buyers with its refined design, capable performance, and technological upgrades. It’s also worth noting that it shares a platform with the VW Amarok.
