    The role of Administrator in Events Management is divided into two primary focus areas: General Administrative Support and Support for Unit Optimization.

    1. General Administrative Support for the Section

    The Administrator’s role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Events Management Unit. This involves efficient communication and thorough organization, covering several responsibilities:

    • Administrative Efficiency: Oversee daily operations to maintain an efficient workflow within the unit.
    • Communication Handling: Respond promptly to inquiries from both internal and external clients, ensuring clear and timely information sharing.
    • Record-Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records, monitor policies, and ensure compliance with company regulations.
    • Secretarial Duties: Perform general secretarial tasks, such as typing, answering calls, scheduling appointments, and setting up meetings.

    Requirements

    To qualify for this position, candidates need to meet the following criteria:

    Educational Qualifications

    • Minimum Qualification: National Senior Certificate (NQF 4 level)

    Experience
