As Gauteng prepares for the BRICS Summit 2023 this week (between the 22nd and 24th of August), there are road closures to be mindful of.

The BRICS Summit 2023 will be happening at the Sandton Convention Centre. So, from 8 am on Sunday the 20th to midnight on Thursday the 24th, the roads as well as businesses surrounding the venue will be heavily affected.

There will also be other high-security measures in place such as vehicle checkpoints, high police visibility on foot, and vehicle, mounted, and air patrols. Even activity in the atmosphere above Sandton including drone recordings has been strongly restricted.
